Past Research

(Dr. Ibba) -Understanding EF-P post translational modifications on cell physiology in E. coli to serve as potential targets for antibiotics. (Dr. Muna) -Developing an inexpensive, sensitive method using electrochemistry to detect lead in soil and water. -Using bismuth nanoparticle glassy carbon modified electrodes we were able to exhibit level detection of lead as low as 1 ppb. (Dr. Wilkes) -Identifying the role of dynein I and II, a motor protein, in cilia import in Tetrahymena thermophila.
