Personal Interest

Extremely grateful for the positive impact of this programs in my current student and myself, I want to give back. Thanks to the support of this program currently I have three of my former undergraduate female researchers pursuing PhDs in prestigious programs. My biggest accomplishment are my students. Seeing them progress and achieve their goals is the greatest satisfaction. Considering the amount of job opportunities for my engineering students it is easy for them to simply get a job after graduation. Giving them research experiences and all the necessary coaching to go into graduate school is my biggest passion in order to increase the number of underrepresented groups in academia.
