NALA Profile

Personal Interest

I consider myself to be an interdisciplinary person with a passion for both art and science! I am currently pursuing a PhD in Pathobiology with a focus on the human microbiome. As a writer and digital artist, I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and intersection between art and STEM as a means to communicate science more effectively and creatively. I would love to help mentor students in the LSAMP programs (particularly those in the PR-LSAMP), and do my best to guide them on their journey towards graduate school.
